- Minestrone Soup
A real soup classic that is easy to make, even if you are not a master chef. Rich in tomatoes, the thick Italian soup is a spicy and flavourful experience for any soup lover. Buon appetito!
You will need (for six people):
1 jar Salvest Pasta Sauce with Vegetables
100 g Tartu Mill Filini piccolo pasta
1 l hot water
1 smaller courgette
3 celery sticks
1 bay leaf
Oil for frying
First, chop all the vegetables. Then heat oil in the bottom of a pot. Braise chopped onions and carrots on low heat for a few minutes. Now, add courgette and celery, then the chopped tomatoes and the bay leaf. Braise for a few minutes.
Pour on the pasta sauce and hot water. Let it simmer on low heat for 30 minutes until the vegetables are nice and soft. Add pasta and let it boil for 3–4 minutes, until the pasta is done. Before serving, sprinkle chopped greens on the soup to your taste.
