Pastry:
150 g coarse oat flakes
250 g flour
100 g brown sugar
0.25 tsp nutmeg
200 g cold butter
Filling:
440 g Salvest Lingonberry jam
1 big apple (approx. 150 g diced apple)
1 tbs sugar
0.5 tbs cinnamon
Ice cream or vanilla sauce for serving
Do so:
Mix together oat flakes, flour, brown sugar and nutmeg. Finely dice in the cold butter and finger the ingredients into a smooth mixture. Then, carefully push 2/3 of the crumble on the bottom of an 22 × 33 oven dish covered with grease-proof paper and bake in pre-heated oven at 200 ºC for 10 minutes.
Finely dice the apple. Next, spread lingonberry jam over the pre-heated base and sprinkle over with diced apple. Sprinkle the diced apples over with sugar and cinnamon and finally the remaining third of the crumble. Bake in the oven at 200 ºC for 30 minutes. Let the crumble cool down and serve with ice cream or vanilla sauce.
